Part 2

Directions: Write a 150- to 300- word response to each of the following questions; include any references and APA citations in your answer:

  1. What is a teratogen? How does it affect normal prenatal development? Provide at least two examples to support your response.
  2. What are the differences in the roles of mothers and fathers in bonding with a newborn? How can a father be an active participant in raising a newborn?

This week you will be completing a worksheet (it is attached in the assignment drop box). On this worksheet you will be writing a summary for each of the prenatal stages. Each summary should be 25-50 words in length (proper spelling and sentence structure is expected as well as proper academic writing; no contractions or first person). Your summaries should also be supported with research (you can use the text and lecture, if you use outside sources make sure that they are not blogs, .orgs, or .com websites).

For the second part of the assignment you will answer two questions. Your responses must be supported with research and they should be 150-300 words in length. Again, proper academic writing is expected.

While it says you are not required to submit to Turn It In, please do so as I will if you do not to make sure your answers are not being shown as coming mostly from outside sources (paraphrasing is important!).
