Social responsibility is a not only a major consideration for international business managers, but one that continues to grow in importance.

Planet Money is a project that details the process of making a t-shirt on a global basis. The social responsibility issues impact all of us both in industry and as consumers. There are 5 “chapters” detailing how cotton is produced, shipped, processed, made into t-shirts. Further, the workers in the supply chain are profiled in Bangladesh, Columbia and in the U.S.

• What can we do to better evaluate social responsibility effectiveness in our respective fields?
