HTH-515 Topic 6 Benchmark Creator and Redeemer Presentation Assignment
Benchmark Creator and Redeemer Presentation
Often theological positions focus so narrowly on one aspect of a biblical truth that an unbalanced doctrine is developed. This assignment focuses on the overarching themes of God as Creator and Redeemer. The objective is for you to think through what it means for God to be both Creator and Redeemer of humanity and how this necessarily affects our overall understanding of God.
Create a presentation of 12-15 slides with speaker notes addressing the following:
- Describe what can be learned about God as Creator from Genesis 1-3.
- Describe God’s ongoing role as sustainer of creation as evidenced in Scripture.
- Identify biblical passages linking Jesus’s deity, role in creation, and status as Redeemer.
- Provide three brief theological reflections connecting God’s love for creation and his salvific action in and through the person of Jesus Christ.
Be sure to include a title slide, an introduction slide, a conclusion slide, and a reference slide.
