Bradford Enterprises has experienced rapid expansion over the last 12 months, growing from 10 locations and 3,000 employees in one state to 22 locations and 8,000 employees in seven states. Bradford Enterprises has decided to upgrade its HR approach and raise it to a new level to be more competitive. The company’s owner is looking to implement three specific HR tools to help the HR do its job well and manage this expansion. The tools are selection tests, a Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and succession planning tools. Management needs to identify specific criteria for the selection process of each tool. This means the requirements for choosing/selecting each HR selection tool.
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation in Webinar format (not as an oral presentation, but a training presentation that provides information. A picture is not worth a thousand words. Webinar format means the slides should be self-explanatory with phrases, words, tables, figures, and/or bullets. Slides displaying a picture with no words are not appropriate for this type of presentation because it is not an oral presentation).
The presentation should include the following requirements:
- Identify which selection criteria is most valuable for each tool.
- An analysis of the chosen criteria for the three tools and which critereon is the most important for each tool.
- An explanation of how and why the tools differ from each other.
Presentation must be in third person (no I, we, our, you, yours, etc.). Support slides with research, and use several sources to support your work. The use of textbooks is not enough, and additional research is required. Use as many sources as needed. Keep the citations as close as possible to the item they are citing, and list the information in references on the last slide. In addition to the textbooks, use several sources to support your work.
Work is to be submitted in PowerPoint presentation. Work submitted in other formats will earn a zero.
Cite any outside sources according to APA formatting guidelines.
