In an institution of higher education (or corporate education), curriculum and syllabus development has always been the purview of individual instructors. The new provost, however, is looking for a more articulated curriculum with broad-based, rather than individual, development and ownership. Instructors are resisting. The provost is insisting. What do you do? Look to your colleagues for advice to your planned actions.
