DB 7

  1. Moses led God’s people out of Egypt and to the Jordan River, where they could see the Promised Land. However, Joshua became the leader when Moses passed away, and was given the responsibility to continue the journey. God told him:

Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. . . . Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them (Joshua 1:2-3, 6).

We learn and grow throughout our lives to fulfill the purpose God has given us, and have the opportunity to help others develop into their purpose. You have learned a lot about change in this course. If you could communicate one thing that God has taught you about change to another person, what would that be? If you had to choose one thing about change management that you could pass on to others in your organization, what would that be?

  2. Choose one article from your annotated bibliography. Citing the article, summarize the major points in the article, and discuss how each point impacts your understanding of change theory and implementation. As described in Session 7 Devotional: Passing the Baton, think about what in that article would help your organization to understand organizational change management. (Do not choose an article that another student has already discussed in their initial post.) Comment on two other students’ posts, comparing or contrasting their article with an article from your annotated bibliography.
